Once again, sorry about the lack of posts, I still don't have a computer, and it may be another week until I get it back! Total bummer....

Unfortunately I don't have any free stuff per se to tell you about today, but I've been meaning to talk to you about Ebates.com, where you can get free money!




I know it sounds fishy- there's no such thing as "free" money, but this is almost as good. The catch? It only works if you buy things online. But you are only buying things that you would normally buy anyways, this just gives you a little something extra for making a purchase you were already going to make! Here's how it works-

1. Go to www.ebates.com before you make an online purchase.

2. Find the store you want to make your purchase at, ie. Nordstrom, Target, etc. and just click the store link which takes you directly to that online store. Before you click the store link, it will show you the percentage of money you will get back from your purchase. Most stores I've visited give 2-4% back.

3. Place your order on the website, and within a few days you'll see the specified percentage of your purchase amount in your Ebates.com account.

I know that small percentage doesn't sound like much, but if you do a lot of online shopping it can add up, and it's a free service.

I recently got a check from Ebates for around $26 - Free Money!

Here are a few tips for using Ebates:

• They won't send you the balance of your account until it reaches $5.01 in shopping percentages.

• Although they don't have every store on the internet, they offer quite a few, and don't forget about travel! You can go through Ebates to make purchases at Expedia, and Travelocity to name a few, and those purchase percentages can really add up.

• Summer is wedding season! If you are purchasing wedding/shower gifts online to be sent to the recipients, just go through Ebates first!

• If you are in charge of making online purchases for work with the company card, just go through Ebates first!
